Hi Everyone! Check out the pictures of my new Grand niece, Piper.
will take you to a page called Ingrid's Family Page. I made that page
just for my sister, Ingrid to show off all her boys and their families.
Ingrid hasn't quick caught up to us in grandchildren, but give 'em
time.
I continue to add to the recipe page, click
here. See below for more on that story.
That's all for now. Sign the Guestbook when you get a chance. I thought
it wasn't working there for awhile. Bye for now. Gerta

Merry, Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!! It can only get
better from here, right?
One of the things that I have been working on all year, is a cookbook
for my family. It has recipes in it from the my immediate family and
the family that I married into. It has been a long task, but I finally
did get it done. I have now started to add all the recipes to the
website for those of you that like to cook. We have an interesting
array of recipes from both sides. Recipes that have been handed down
through the ages. My hope was to continue that process, but on a wider
scale. Please check out the recipes that I have on there already.
We had a wonderful Christmas with an almost full house of Chuck's
relatives. Check out some of our Christmas shots. Click
here.
Chuck and I wish you all the best on the coming New Year!! Please
keep in touch, let us know how you are doing. Gerta

Hello Everyone!
It has been a long time since I last worked on the website. We have
been very busy needless to say. We moved my Mother-in-law
in with us at the end of June. I believe we are all getting settled
in now. It has been an adjustment, but I think everything is working
out great. Cecilia says she is happy to be with us. And she bakes
for us in return. (So now I have to work out even harder!)
At the beginning of August, Chuck and I got away for a little while
by going to my sister, Ingrid's for a few days. We met up with my
parents at the airport in Minneapolis and took them on up to Fergus
Falls to see my sister's house on Clitherall Lake. It is beautiful
and very peaceful. Check out our Trip by clicking
here.
I also added a few more pics to our "Friends"
page. Take a peek and enjoy.

Well I added something really fast here because it is way past my
bedtime. I added pictures of Chuck's trip to the Middle
East, so far. He has been e-mailing me photos, so I thought I
would put them out there just as fast as I got them.
I put the hyper links for the trip Chuck and Ben were on out to the
Southwest. Utah, Arizona...
They had a blast. The link goes to a page that may take a little while
to download, depending on your system and modem. Just be patient.
I had to try something new.
I also put the
hyper link to our wonderful friends and cousins, Mike
and Teri. And to my God
Daughter, Caroline.

Blessed Easter to you all. Sorry that it has taken me so long to update,
but we have really been busy here. I have been working a lot of overtime,
so some nights I just don't feel like updating anything. :-)
Well what can I tell you that's new?? We got a couple of new windows
thanks to Chuck's wonderful cousin, Mike and his wife, Teri. What
would we do without them?!!! They are the best!! We also bought a
new stove!! My treat to myself. A glass top. So pretty. Of course,
Chuck wants me to bake more and then we have to workout more. It's
a vicious cycle..... And Chuck bought a new digital camera. I'll be
putting even more pictures on the site. He is on a trip
with this son Ben right now, so we will have some
pictures from that trip to add. Plus I have the addition of my
new God Daughter, Caroline!!
What an honor!! I'm so thrilled. Check it all out. And then make sure
you come back for more in a couple of weeks or so. Bye for now. Gerta

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are still wishing for warmer weather. Our
snow has turned into ugly gray stuff. And I do mean stuff. Who knows
what all is under there. Kinda wish we had a little dusting of snow
just to brighten the place up.
I just wanted to update the front page to decorate for St. Patrick's
Day I added a picture onto my family page. Click
here to see. Also added a picture of Lisa & John's adorable
little David. They grow so quickly. He's already off traveling the world.
Click here to see Just Friend's, David's
Page. |

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. We are surviving the weather, though
right now it is pretty cold and snowy out. All of January we had it
easy and a lot of our BIG snow melted. I have pictures of our house
with the snow. Click here to see. It was
fun for a little while, but once it starts to do some damage, forget
it!!
Also I have updates of the boys and Destiny from Christmas. Check
them out. Plus I added a few pictures onto Gerta's
Family Page and a picture of good friends of our from PA. Check
out the Just Friends Page.
Enjoy. |

Happy New Year, everyone!!!
We started out the new year trying to save our roof. Those in the
area know this well, but those of you not in Milwaukee or Chicago
don't know that we have had 50 inches of snow in December. At first
it was fun, but when the drips inside the house started it wasn't
fun anymore. SO that is why I took the snow flakes off the Home Page
.-- Flowers, we want to see flowers!! But we have all of winter to
go yet. Needless to say we broke the previous record here in Milwaukee
for snowfall in December. It was 30 inches. We passed that half way
through the month. I'll have pictures later.
I do finally have
pictures of Destiny. Chuck's newest grandchild. Cute little girl.
Boy is it fun to buy girl things!! Big brother, Warren takes very
good care of Destiny and watches her like a hawk. Check out Chuck's
Grandkids page for pictures
of everyone.
Well, I mainly
wanted to get the snowflakes off, but I'll be back. More to add later.

Happy Holidays everyone. The Christmas letter will be coming out soon,
well at least I hope so. As usual, we have been very busy. Took our
annual trip home to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. To my mom and dad's
house. But first we made our stop with
the Gathering Group. We had a
great time as always and it hard to believe we saw you guys last in
July. It seems just like yesterday. We also made our stops in Lancaster
and Ephrata. Pictures to come on those, too.
There are many
things to update, but so little time to get them done. I didn't write
a note the last time I updated, but I would like to note now that
we had a great time with all of our Halloween friends and we have
pictures of all of them to show. Checks these spooks
out. Enjoy!! Sign the Guestbook, if you think of it. Something
new.

Happy Halloween everyone.
As you may have
noticed I have added quite a few new pictures for everyone to enjoy.
Okay, maybe it's just me, I enjoy them. I also enjoy looking at other
peoples pictures. There was one time that I was looking at this one
site and ran across a picture of a guy I worked with. The pictures
were from his cousin's site in San Francisco and he is from New Jersey
and now lives in Wisconsin!! What a surprise and what a small world.
I've finally added
the Feel Good pages. Feel free to
enjoy those. Some of those stories that you get by e-mail are so nice
that you just want to keep them around awhile.

Check out our trip to Ocean City,
NJ, and our Family Reunion.
The pictures just keep on coming. What fun. I just can't work fast
enough.
I also added a
link to the American Diabetes Association. Check out the link
page.

Well, I'm finally getting around to the updates that I had wanted
to add. Of course, their are lots more to come, but I finally did
something! The photo page changed the
most. And I added Almie and
René's wedding pictures
Coming soon ---
pictures of Chuck's newest granddaughter!! Chuck's daughter, Kari
had a new little girl, named Destiny Ann. She was premature, but she
is doing great. Mom is too. Destiny weighted in at 4 lb. 11 oz. Not
a bad size for a preemie. August 29 is her birthday. She was suppose
to come Oct. 15. She might even be coming home this week, which is
again very good for a preemie.
Stay tuned. She
is adorable. Her dad, Josh, was very proud also.
